The Department of Master of Business Administration was started in the year 2006. The present student intake is 120 for first semester and 60 for third semester MBA and total strength is 180. The department has come a long way since its inception in the way it handles its academics, co-curricular activities and extra-curricular activities.
The Department believes strongly in creating an excellent learning environment for the students and meticulously plans for involving and engaging students creatively within and outside the class-room. Presently the faculty members are engaged in the design of delivery models that can optimize the content delivery, while making time for real world exposure for the student.
The faculty members of the department have a sound academic, industry as well as research background and constantly endeavour to better the quality of the learning environment and student engagement. With the onset of our Management Research and Consultancy Centre (November, 2010), faculty members are now engaged in exploring areas such as Entrepreneurship, Women Empowerment, Stress, Role Efficacy, Micro Finance, Talent Management, Social Networking, Mergers and Acquisitions, Supply Chain Management, E-Governance and many more related areas. The department, therefore, expects to keep up a constant publication record which would add on to the existing publication database from our institution.
The Department believes in innovatively and creatively engaging students in various activities of the Department. Faculty members and students collaborate in the design, planning and execution of these activities and thoroughly enjoy the fun, while constantly learning from each other’s experiences.
